Before attending the Student Health Orientation Programme, new students are expected to complete University's online Master Registration so as to enable them to use services of the University Health Service. Please also complete the online Health Questionnaire. Health Questionnaire In order to facilitate the provision of health services to you, all new students are required to complete an Electronic Health Questionnaire (EHQ) before attending the Student Health Orientation Programme and before the beginning of term. To access the EHQ, please login the HKU Portal → ‘Campus Information Services’ → ‘Service Departments’ → ‘University Health Service’ → ‘Electronic Health Questionnaire’. The information provided will be retained confidentially by the University Health Service as part of each student’s medical record. The completed health questionnaires will be reviewed by University Health Service and some students may be invited to come for medical consultations for further understanding of their health if clarification is needed. This will not affect their admission to the University. Health Orientation Talks (In Cantonese unless specified) All new students are advised to attend the Health Orientation Talks. If you are a * high occupational risk student, please bring along the completed Tuberculin Skin Test & BCG Vaccination Questionnaire, Hepatitis B Questionnaire and Chickenpox Questionnaire if applicable.
All new Bachelors of Chinese Medicine, Dental, Medical, Nursing, Pharmacy, Speech & Hearing Sciences and Social Work students are compulsory to attend the Health Orientation Talks and complete the vaccination questionnaires. If you are out of Hong Kong on the scheduled date, please visit http://www.uhs.hku.hk for further arrangement.
# For Pharmacy and Social Work Undergraduate Students If you have BCG done before, it is not compulsory for you to attend the Orientation Talk.
