The largest amount of financial assistance is provided by the Government Tertiary Student Finance Scheme for Publicly-funded Programme (TSFS) which is a means-tested grant and loan scheme administered by the Student Financial Assistance Agency (SFAA). If you need financial assistance for your studies at the University, you are strongly encouraged to apply for TSFS. A Non-means-tested Loan Scheme for Full-time Tertiary Students (NLSFT) is also available for application by students who do not want to rely on family support or who have difficulty in applying for the means-tested TSFS Scheme. The relevant application information can be found on the SFAA website at http://www.sfaa.gov.hk. Students are required to submit the completed online form to SFAA direct through the Agency’s electronic platform. The deadline for application for TSFS for new students would be in mid September 2014. Please check with CEDARS/SFAA nearer the time.
