Non-local students studying at HKU for more than one year will have to renew their student visa annually. It is the responsibility of individual students to renew their visa in a timely manner to maintain a valid and legitimate visa status throughout their study at HKU. Currently, for taught course postgraduates from the mainland, the contact office at the University is the China Affairs Office. For all other students, please contact CEDARS for visa extension.
