Student Registration Card |
The Student Registration Card is issued free-of-charge to new students on their completion of the registration procedure. The card serves as evidence of your status as a registered student of this University and is used for access to the Libraries, the Information Technology Services, the Institute of Human Performance, the University Health Service, and other facilities. Regulations for Student Registration Card The Student Registration Card is a student’s personal identification document and is required to access the University’s premises and its facilities. It will be invalidated once you have completed or terminated your study. The Student Card is University property and is not transferable. Misuse or falsification of the Card constitutes a major offence, and is subject to disciplinary action. The University may, at its discretion, require a student to return his/her Card at any time. If you find that either the magnetic strip or the contactless chip of your Card is not working properly, you should report it to Academic Development and Quality Assurance Section of the Registry (9/F, Knowles Building). If your Card is found to be defective, you will be issued a new card free of charge. However, if it is found to be damaged by mishandling, you will be charged $150. You will be liable to a charge of $150 if you fail to do the following:
If you have lost your Card, you must report your loss immediately by completing a report form (http://www.ase.hku.hk/doc/ApplicationForReplacementCard.pdf) and returning it to the Academic Services Office at G04, Run Run Shaw Building. A fee of $150 per replacement will be charged for issuing a replacement card in 2014-2015. |
