The Sau Po Centre on Ageing is a leading research centre in gerontology in the region. The Centre is committed to enhance the well-being of older people in Hong Kong and the region through its research, education, and knowledge exchange activities. The Centre’s researchers have also provided consultations to the HKSAR government and NGOs on policy and program innovations in ageing services. The Centre has ongoing research projects in the areas of long-term care policy, productive ageing, ageing in China, end-of-life care, dementia care, health literacy, and comparative ageing policy.
